Stainless Steel

201 SS (Briq.)

Stainless Steel Scrap Grade 201 is characterized by its low nickel content. Grade 201 can be used as a substitute for type 301 in many applications, but is less corrosion resistant than 301. The greater nitrogen content in 201 offers higher yield strength and toughness when compared with 301

304 SS (Loose/Briq.)

SAE 304 Stainless Steel is the most common stainless steel. The steel contains both chromium (between 18% and 20%) and nickel (between 8% and 10.5%) metals as the main non-iron constituents. It is an austenitic stainless steel, and is therefore not magnetic.

304 SS (Loose)

SAE 304 Stainless Steel is the most common stainless steel. The steel contains both chromium (between 18% and 20%) and nickel (between 8% and 10.5%) metals as the main non-iron constituents. It is an austenitic stainless steel, and is therefore not magnetic.

316 SS

A popular grade of stainless steel is stainless steel 316 is generally composed of 16 to 18% chromium, 10 to 14% nickel, 2 to 3% molybdenum, and a small percentage of carbon. Adding molybdenum to stainless steel 316 increases its corrosion resistance compared to other grades of stainless steel.

High Nickel SS

High nickel steel is an alloy of iron, chromium, and other metals with high nickel content. It has excellent strength, durability, and corrosion resistance properties. These qualities make it one of the most popular materials in engineering and industrial applications.
